FITMA and AMMA3D sign cooperation agreement

The International Expo of Technology and Manufacturing – FITMA and the Mexican Association of Additive Manufacturing & 3D – AMMA3D signed a partnership agreement to create an Additive Manufacturing pavilion and conferences at FITMA 2023.

With the goal of strengthen the growth of Additive Manufacturing in Mexico, one of the latest cutting-edge technologies in the industry, FITMA – The International Expo of Technology and Manufacturing and AMMA3D – Mexican Association of Additive Manufacturing & 3D signed a cooperation agreement to create a pavilion and the conferences for FITMA 2023 devoted to Additive Manufacturing.

As a result, this is the seventh pavilion that makes up the most representative exhibition of the metalworking and manufacturing industry in Latin America, organized by technologies: machine tools, inspection and measurement, CAD/CAM and CNC controls, finishing and coatings, cutting tools and workholding systems, and additive manufacturing.

The signing of the partnership agreement between FITMA and AMMA3D is and will be of great benefit to the additive manufacturing community in Mexico. AMMA3D knows that by joining forces it will be possible to disseminate in a forceful way the capabilities of the technology, as well as its myths and realities.

This joint effort for FITMA 2023 will be very useful for the market and for the Latin American industry, as it is expected to expose technologies and capabilities that have never been exhibited in the country, as well as share experiences of users of the technology with the manufacturing community that is beginning to show interest. This type of alliances is of great importance for the Mexican industry, since it will allow them to witness and learn about the capabilities of new technologies from experts in these technologies, adding value to the decision-making process when adopting additive manufacturing technologies,” says Omar Lopez, general director of AMMA3D.

FITMA is the biennial exhibition that showcases international industrial market activity and investment, focusing on technology and manufacturing for Latin America, connecting leading manufacturers, global equipment manufacturers and suppliers of machinery and services for the metalworking sector for 3 days of high-quality exhibition, technical training and great networking experiences.

FITMA is co-presented by Gardner Business Media and AMT - Association For Manufacturing Technology with the support of the National Auto Parts Industry (INA), the Mexican Federation of the Aerospace Industry (FEMIA), the Mexican Association of Mold and Die Manufacturing (AMMMT), as well as the most recognized machine tool and manufacturing sector associations in the world, such as the Korea Machine Tool Manufacturers Association (KOMMA), the Taiwan Machinery Industry Association (TAMI), the Taiwan Machine Tool and Accessories Manufacturers Association (TMBA), the Japan Machine Tool Builders Association (JMTBA), the Spanish Association of Machine Tool, Accessories, Components and Tools Manufacturers (AFM) and the Argentine Chamber of Machine Tools and Production Technologies(CARMAHE).
